Spring is finally here!!

FINALLY I can have all of my windows open.  FINALLY we can put away our winter jackets and boots and mitts and hats and scarves.  FINALLY the beautiful weather has reached us and melted our snow.

I got my May kit from Scrapbook Circle in the mail the other day, and the second I opened it I think I gasped out loud.  So pretty.  Seriously pretty.  Awesome colors, perfect for spring.... nice and fun!!  Unfortunately, I have to take a break from the kits for a little while until we're caught up on some things around here, but hope to continue with them in a few months from now. :)

I created this layout for another challenge on their blog, "Don't Let Anyone Dull Your Sparkle".
Loved the little sequins in the kit, I think these are the first sequins in my stash and I will definately be picking more up!  I also threw on one of the Heidi Swapp glitter frames, those things are seriously cute!!

2 things that I did for this layout, I wanted to mention because you can take what is in there and turn it into something special no matter what it is!  The white and orange grid paper?  That's really from the Amy Tangerine packaging from one of the items in the kit... just cut out a triangle on the bottom and voila!  I also used the Heidi Swapp rubons to go slightly staggered on top of the paper cut out for 'Here we go' and it looks like it was meant to be a watercolor paper instead of just black and white!

The next layout was just for fun, and is about as furthest from my imagined layout as you can get. LOL!  I do love how it turned out, and love that I used lots of pinks on a layout with me and my youngest son. ;)

I hope you have a great long weekend, with beautiful weather, family and friends! :)
