I Gotta Feeling!!!

We're starting to hear Christmas Carols in the malls...
We're seeing nothing but commercials enticing us to buy toys...
We're thinking about who has been naughty or nice...

And because you have all been NICE this year, the Love is in the Details Creative Team is giving you another blog hop!! Woooot!!! You have already been to the LIITD blog, and then Melissa and Lisa's.... after mine you'll head on over to Amber, then Melanie, then Cindy's!!

Welcome everyone to the sneak peek of 'Peppermint Dreams',
yet another kit full of amazing papers and embellishments put together by our own Creative Kit Coordinator, Melanie Blackburn. Mel has proven yet again that she has the knack and the eye to throw together different manufacturers and make it look like it was MADE to be put together on a layout..... so hats off to you, Mel!!!

I decided to throw some cards into the hop, which a lot of you know are NOT my forte whatsoever... LOL!! But, I wanted to show that even if you don't love making them or struggle with them, this kit makes it easy because the papers blend SO well together.

The above cards were made using the following things from the Peppermint Dreams Kit:
JOYEUX NOEL (MISTLETOE & CO.)
NORTH POLE (MISTLETOE & CO.)
CAN BEEF CONSOMME ON WHITE (GRANDMA'S CHRISTMAS SOUP)
MAYA ROAD SNOWFLAKES MINI CHIPBOARD SET
MISTLETOE & CO. PUNCH OUTS DIE-CUTS
From my own supplies I threw on some Stickles, some Kaiser Craft Bling, and some BG Bling.

The gift card holder that you see was made from a template I found online that I fell in love with.
Supplies from the kit that were used:
MISTLETOE & CO. PUNCH OUTS DIE-CUTS
SANTA'S WORKSHOP (MISTLETOE & CO.)
PAISLEE POSTCARDS (MISTLETOE & CO.)
MAYA ROAD RED VELVET SCALLOPED RIC RAC

Thanks for taking a peek! Remember to jump on over to Ambers blog, and check out what she has chosen to give you a sneaky peek of!! And when you go to sleep tonight, I hope you all have some amazing Peppermint Dreams!

P.S.... don't forget about Witchy's amazing contest, that you can find the details of HERE!! Awesome chance to win some pretty sweet prizes, so hurry up and get your entry finished!!

Happy Saturday!

I was the last one to bed last night, and the first one up this morning with Makenna.... and since it seems that nobody wants to do anything just yet, I'm sitting at the scrappy table staring at my November kit from LIITD and trying not to drool on my keyboard ;) I can't wait to show everyone!!!
So I am getting new flooring in my house! The entire upstairs is going to be redone with laminate, it got here last night courtesy of my bf's truck from the city.... I can't say I completely love it just yet, but hopefully once it's down and all done, I will :) I just can't wait to replace my kitchen floor most of all, because it's seriously nasty. LOL!
We're gearing up for winter too... it's been fairly cool here the last few weeks, and we did see the white stuff one day but there's nothing on the ground right now. I'm hoping it holds off until after the kids are done their trick or treating on Halloween!! Tayla is being a witch, Jackson is being a storm trooper, and Makenna is being Sleeping Beauty... I can't wait to see them all dressed up!
I'm almost done my first trimester with my 4th baby on the way.... and I am hoping that once I hit the second one, I will start feeling much better. I have been feeling absolutely horrible since pretty much the day I found out, it's like a non-stop hangover 24/7 where you just don't want to move for fear of getting sick. LOL!! Hopefully I will hear the heartbeat at my appointment next week and I can finally get really excited, because for me, I have to hear that for it to fully hit me and to really start getting excited about the whole thing!!
But I suppose I should get on these chores so that I can sit and play with my scrappy stuff later on today, I can't wait to dig in!!!! Have a great weekend everyone!

It's October, people! I can't believe it, where is 2009 going?!?! Well, the 1st of the month is reveal day... but I have to say, I'm not in on it! LOL! LIITD has started putting together special themed kits for different occasions, and the first one just comes out today and it is so drool worthy it's ridiculous. Melanie Blackburn did a phenomenal job putting it together, I am kicking myself for not jumping at the chance to work with it! LOL! It's called MIDNIGHT FOG and is available HERE! To check out the fantastic creations from Melanie, Lisa and Melissa, click HERE but put a little bib on to catch the drool, wouldja?! ;)
Great job ladies, I am so thrilled with the creativity and passion you all have!!!
Stay tuned for the reveal of the other October kit in the next little bit, I'll update you with a date shortly! :)
