Summer Lovin'

Welcome to another LIITD blog hop! If you're reading this, you've now seen the awesome sneak peeks from Lisa, Melissa, Mel, and Amber! Didn't they just rock it?!?!! I think so!! Once again, it was an amazing kit to work with, such fun and summery colors... and I know that even with 2 boys, Amber had a lot of fun with it!
My layout that I'm giving you for the sneak peek, is a fun summer one done with the great July kit from LIITD, which featured pieces of MME's Breaking Free line!!

From the kit I used:
OH SO VERY COOL ROCKY POINT (COWABUNGA - BREAKING FREE) 12 X 12 PAPER
ONLY SMILES BOY HOT DOTS (WILD RIDE - BREAKING FREE) 12 X 12 PAPER
SWEET (SUN KISSED - BREAKING FREE) SMALL ACCESSORIES
YOU AND ME FRAME (FRUIT FLAVORED - BREAKING FREE)
SWIMMING POOL CANDY SHOPPE ALPHABET 6 X 12 GLITTERED CARDSTOCK STICKERS
BAZZIL DOTTED SWISS WHITE CS
I threw in some various flowers and bling from my stash as well, and used some of my abundance of stickles too :)
Run, don't walk, on July the 1st to check out with this fantabulous summer kit!!! :) Thanks for hopping along with us!!
Everyone that leaves a comment on my blog post will have their name thrown into a random draw for a RAK from moi!!!!! :) Good luck!!!

I thought that I should put a little post before the big crop in Miami this weekend! Time is FLYING by and I can't believe that the LIITD crop is already here! I am so excited to get away for the weekend without the kids, just me and my sister on the road listening to tunes, meeting old and new friends, and having a really awesome time. Lori always outdoes herself and definately puts the little details into everything. I am HOPING to have at least 2 layouts completed by the end of the night on Saturday, but I can't promise anything. LOL!
I don't even know what to pack! What do you normally pack for crops? We're driving 9 hours to get there (ACK) and while I DO have the van now with tons of room, I always end up taking way more than I need!! I also have to do my laundry and pack my clothes... tempted to pull out the maternity jeans so that I have room to eat. LMAO!!!!!!
I did an inspiration challenge the other day at LIITD, come on over and check it out HERE and then take a peek around at the other awesome challenges posted by my fellow CT'ers!! Always some great picks ;)
So have yourself a wonderful weekend... I dare you to get scrappy and create at least TWO layouts!! I will hopefully have pictures and stories to share on Monday!! :)

The Early Bird catches the worm!!

Cosmo Cricket's Early Bird line is the basis of the LIITD kit for June, and let me tell ya, it was awesome!! I love these colors, I love the patterns... and the chipboard is so cute! It was teamed up with some Prima flowers, some BG bling, and some MR chipboard letters and altogether made a spectacular kit! Step into line for it, ladies, as with most other LIITD kits it's sure to sell out!

We gave you some suprise peeks last week on our blog hop reveal, something we hope to continue as it was a great success!! I'll leave one more peek on the blog, but you'll have to hop on over to the gallery to check out the amazing creations from my fellow CT'ers Amber, Lisa, Melanie and Melissa! You girls rocked it as always, I'm happy and proud to be working with you all!!!

I'm in the middle of renovating parts of my house due to mold issues in Makenna's bedroom, and throughout the rest of the basement. Financially not something I can afford, but for health reasons I couldn't afford NOT to. Luckily I have some wonderful friends that are great with tools and they are down there as I type starting to put up the new framing for the walls. Once her room is done, I will continue on with mine, and then the rest of the basement. Step by step ;)

Nothing much else new to report! The weather is slowing getting better, and I am hoping that next weekend will be warm and sunny, and we can spend some time outside! I was busy this weekend with a bridal shower and pre-wedding shower for some friends, and then in 2 weeks I'll be in Miami, MB for the LIITD crop, so this coming weekend I want to focus on being with the kids :)

So I'll leave you now with the name of the winner from my blog RAK from last Sunday! Thanks to all that left comments, it's nice to see everyone following along and I hope it will continue! I let my eldest daughter Tayla draw the name, and the winner is.....

SCRAPBUGGER!!!

Congratulations, Deb!! I will either mail your RAK, or deliver it in person if you are coming to the crop on the 13th!!!! :)

Have a fantastic week everyone!! Have you told the special people in your life that you love them today? No? Well what are you waiting for???!! ;)
